The sixth and final partner meeting of the ENCORE project (Enriching Circular use of OER for Education) took place in Pisa, Italy, from 7th to 9th May 2025. This closing event brought together all partners to analyse the project’s results and discuss its legacy, while also opening the floor to the wider public with an international conference on the role of Artificial Intelligence in education.
The partner meeting was hosted at Detaills (Via San Martino, 3), where the results of each work package (WP2 to WP8) were presented and reviewed by their respective leaders: UNIPI, USAL, FBK, UNIPD, CHA, REC, and EADTU. The sessions focused on project deliverables, achievements, and potential future impact of the developed outcomes beyond the project’s lifetime.
On 8th May, the Final Conference titled "AI in Education: What’s the Point?" was held at the School of Engineering of the University of Pisa. The event included a keynote speech on AI in education, a poster session, a roundtable discussion, and opportunities for networking during a coffee break and an aperitivo.
The ENCORE project ends with a strong emphasis on dissemination, reflection, and innovation, setting a clear path forward for the future use and integration of OER and AI in educational contexts.
